Depending on what you want to do with our services, we will need different kinds of information. This information could include:

- We will store the expiry date of the card you use to pay for the Services to remind you when you need to update it so that you don’t have any issues with the services.

- When you pay for our services: we store the expiry date of the card you use to pay, but only during the payment process.
4. For what purposes and on what legal basis do we process your personal data?
Here at Wiris, we use your personal data in line with the following purposes and legal bases:
- To help you sign up as a Service user. If you decide to use Wiris’s services, we will need to process your personal data to let you access the functions of the services.
Legal Basis: It is necessary to process data to sign you up for the Wiris platform in order to fulfil an agreement (Article 6.1.b) of the GDPR); this agreement is the terms and conditions that govern the use of the platform.
- Subscription to commercial information on Wiris’s products. If we have a legal reason to do it, we will use your data to send you information about the app as well as news and events that you might be interested in.
Legal Basis: We process your data based on your consent, which you give us through the contact form on our website. However, if you are already a customer and we send you information about our services, we do this based on our legitimate interest.
- Helping with, handling and responding to any request, comment, question, complaint or claim that you make using the different channels we have made available to you.

5. Who do we share your data with?
Depending on why we collected your personal data, other people might be able to access it, for example:
- The Public Administration can access it if this is required by law.
- The Public Authorities and Law Enforcement can access it if it is necessary or required by law, or if we think there is a possibility of criminal activity.
- Collaborators or external service providers can access it as data processors if they have permission to do this activity.
- Employees and collaborators authorised by Wiris, always complying with data protection law.
6. How long do we store your information?
Your personal data will be stored for the time we need to meet the objectives of this privacy policy and to comply with the applicable laws on a case-by-case basis.
7. Do we store your data in other countries or send it there?
People use our services all around the world. This means that your personal data might be stored or processed in other countries apart from your own or sent there. These countries might have different data protection laws. If we send your data to another country, we make sure that there is a suitable level of protection in line with data protection laws.
8. What rights do you have over your personal data?
Wiris’s data processing grants the data owner the following rights:
- The right to know if we are processing your data; if we are, you have the right to access it.
- The right to correct incorrect data or add any information that is missing.
- The right to ask us to delete your data.
- The right to limit how we process your data, only storing it for legal defence where necessary.
- The right to object to your data being processed, except for legal matters or legal defence.

The consent that you have granted for any purpose stipulates that it could be revoked whenever you wish. However, you should be aware that the withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

9. Additional information.

Policy for use by children: Our services are for adults, so we don’t want to get information from children. If you are a parent or a legal guardian, and you think your child has given us their personal information, please send us an email at privacy@wiris.com. We will help you with this matter.
Updates: When we collect your information, we will process it in line with our privacy policy at that time. If we make any changes to how we process your data, we will tell you beforehand.
